ScopusEye provider of a world's leading integrated, wirelessly-enabled video surveillance platform using highly sophisticated video processing, with state-of-the-art cellular and wireless communications.
ScopusEye's products are based on the latest Texas Instruments digital signal processor (DSP) equipped with MPEG 4 based video compression algorithms that communicate with PDAs and "Smart" cellular phones through a Linux-based communications controller. ScopusEye's systems incorporate original video compression enhancements to MPEG4 part 2 algorithms, especially optimized for streaming video over low bandwidth cellular networks like GPRS, CDMA, EDGE, UMTS.
ScopusEye's products enable users to view live, or recorded, high quality video on their cellular phones, PDAs and personal computers and with the ability to pan-tilt and zoom the camera from their mobile handsets anywhere in the world.
ScopusEye's unique technology consists of the following fundamental elements:
1. An optimized video algorithm that enables real time video streaming over existing cellular infrastructure (in the 2.5G and 3G environment) producing high quality video performance over mobile phones. The Company's compression technique is expected to have even better performance over 3G networks.
2. A single, integrated hardware and software solution with the ability to capture, compress, record, encrypt and transmit real time video at over 30 frames per second per channel.
3. ScopusEye's unique "dual architecture" technology permits simultaneous recording from all cameras in different specified video quality. Users can view live, as well as recorded, video using different fixed and cellular networks (ADSL, ISDN, PSTN, and Cellular) with different specified video qualities.
4. With ScopusEye's unique video gateway, live and recorded video can be viewed using proprietary software that can be downloaded into many of the latest Nokia and Sony Ericsson Smartphones and PDAs (which have network connectivity). Pan-Tilt & Zoom for remote cameras are controllable from these mobile devices.
5. Using a Windows 2000 or XP software, PC users are able to have remote video surveillance with Pan-Tilt-Zoom control. Up to 16 concurrent video streams from different locations can be controlled with the ScopusEye client software and up to 64 un-concurrent video channels from different location in the world.
ScopusEye's advanced video processing technology together with it's advanced utilization of cellular networks puts ScopusEye at the leading edge of the video security and surveillance industry.
