Senior Security Technician
Responsibilities:
. Knowledge of network protocols ( TCP/IP, IP, IP security,
DHCP, VPN, DNS)
. Installation and supervision of installations of systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Intercom and Central Monitoring. Installation techniques must meet industry standards.
. Provide basic customer training for proper system usage. Respond to customer technical inquiries.
. Submit complete, accurate and legible paperwork in a timely manner, obtaining the proper signatures.
. Maintain a clean and organized working environment at the office and in the field.
Requirements:
. 5 years industry experience
. Must be knowledgeable of low voltage, certification preferred
. Knowledge of industry standards BHMA, ASTM , DHI and UL.
. Strong Skills or experience with computers and networking
. A valid driver's license, without restrictions, is required for this position
. Ability to work independently on customer site
. Ability to meet deadlines and have strong time management and organizational skills
. Experience with Pelco and Philips CCTV products would be an asset
Experienced QA and Support Specialist
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting up systems including servers and networks, system testing using both manual and automated tools and building software install packages.
Responsibilities:
. Systems testing including set up and configuration of the test environment
. Evaluate new equipment for functionality and reliability
. Build software install packages
. Version tracking
. Customer training
Requirements:
. Full life cycle development experience is mandatory; must have ability to produce and document designs, implement the design, unit test
. Minimum 5 years related experience
. Strong working knowledge of Software build and install packages
. Possess thorough knowledge of the development, test, release and support processes
. Knowledge of network protocols ( TCP/IP, IP, IP security, DHCP, VPN, DNS)
. Operating systems - Linux\Unix, Windows 98 and NT/2000/XP
. Software development and testing experience
. Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot problems on application servers and workstation
. Completion of multiple full product development cycles in a test development or test automation role
. Strong object debugging/testing with Interactive test suite
. Software programming skills would be benificial
. Experience in performance testing, security testing, and regression testing is also beneficial
. Prepare for and support new products, to include beta support
Additional Skills:
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
. Analytical and detail-oriented
. Must be an enthusiastic self-starter who is capable of working independently, as well as in small teams
. Working knowledge of storage systems and backup procedures
